Friday October 29
Spooky crawler treasure hunt – 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Heckert Lodge. Celebrate Halloween with a pre-party scavenger hunt and costume contest in Grand Lake.
Fall Book Fair – 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Granby Library community room. The book fair is organized by the Granby Elementary power take-off.
Main Street Trick or Treat – 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Agate Avenue. The participating businesses in the main street of Granby and in Destination Granby are offering a “Trick or Treat” walk.
Dining in Chili by Car – 5 to 6:30 p.m. at 111 W. Central Ave. Free Chili Dinner with Cinnamon Rolls and Caramel Apple Slices hosted by the Kremmling Rotary Club. Donations accepted.
Author Conference – 5:30 p.m. at Mountain Shire Books and Gifts. Grand Lake authors Jim and Stephanie Kroepfl will read part of their sci-fi novel “Merged”, sign copies and answer questions.
Celebrate the Recovery – 6:45 p.m. at Grand River Assembly Church. The scholarship starts at 6 p.m. before the weekly meeting. For more information, 970-887-9784.

Saturday October 30
Country Ace Hardware Neighbors Appreciation Day – 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Bring the kids for a ride or treat with our Country Ace team members. The celebration will also include grills, door prizes, in-store specials and freebies.
Free tutoring with Francesca – 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Kremmling Library. Tutoring covers all ages and all subjects. Reservations are highly recommended, but walk-in tours are also welcome.
Candy and Crafts – 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Pioneer Village Museum. Free family event. Come for the candy but stay for the Halloween crafts.
Doors Open and Trunk-or-Treat – 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Eternal Hills Church, Tabernash. The community is invited to an open house for our new community center. There will be treats, tours, and an opportunity to share ideas on how this space can better serve the community. Children are invited too. Wear a costume and join the Trunk-or-Treat. Halloween Parade – 4 p.m. at Hot Sulfur Springs. A fundraiser for the Halloween Parade for the Hot Sulfur Springs and Parshall Fire Department followed by a trick or treat and hay walks. The float entries for the parade are $ 25 each and there will be a decoration contest. The winning tank will receive $ 100 and second place $ 50. For more information, email [email protected].
Halloween Party – 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Cooper Creek Square. Step out for Trick-or-Treat Street in The Square, a Spooky DJ Dance Party and more.
Truck or Treat – 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Grand County Sheriff’s Office parking lot.
Haunted House at the Morgan – 6-8:30 p.m. at Morgan Mercantile in Tabernash. Admission is $ 5 per creature and children under 2 are free. All profits will be donated to the Grand Kids Learning Center.
American Zombie Circus – 8 p.m. at Fisher’s Bar in Fraser. Acrobats, contortionists, waders and fire performers join in the live music for a costume party and Halloween concert.
Devil’s Craft Halloween Bash – 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Devil’s Craft in Cooper Creek. Live music from Tara Rose and the Real Deal, Hunker Down and Midnight Super Jam, plus a costume contest. The cost is $ 20, which includes a free drink, or presale tickets are available until Friday for $ 15. Part of the profits will be used to finance the housing fund of the Grande Fondation.
Sunday October 31
Trick or Treat “On the Lawn” – 3 pm to 5 pm at the Cliffview Assisted Living Center in Kremmling. The assisted living center may not have the usual trick-or-treat indoors this year, but residents and staff still want to see the kids fully dressed. Park on Eagle Avenue and walk up the driveway. Residents will be outside with treats.
Trick or Treat Street – 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at West Grand K-8 Library. Disguise contest at 4:45 p.m. Indoor candy game, cupcake walk, games and scary stories open to all.
Haunted House – 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at 41 W. Diamond Court, Granby. A free haunted house welcomes all princesses, wizards and cuddly creatures for family tricks and treats after the sun goes down.
Haunted Train – 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Moffat Road Railroad Museum. Explore the spooky 1905 passenger coach. Entrance tickets are $ 2 per person.
Monday November 1
Course for first-time home buyers – 5:15 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Granby Library. Professionals from Grand County will talk about creating a to-do list for buying a home, down payment options, credit scores and history, plus the pros and cons. of the rental.
Story Time – 10:30 a.m. at the Hot Sulfur Springs Library. Join Ms. Carol for this fun and interactive early literacy program for children under 5. Read books, do crafts, socialize, and enjoy movement and songs.
Virtual Reality – 12 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. at the Hot Sulfur Springs Library. Play, create music, or travel to new worlds, all without leaving your library.
Tuesday, November 2
Quilting Club – 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Kremmling Library. Directed by Janet Schayer. Bring a sewing machine, regular sewing supplies, and fabric. Debris available.
Granby Rec After School – 4:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. at the Granby Library.
Book Club – 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Kremmling Library. Join us in person at the library for this quarterly meeting to enjoy discussions on books from the legal thriller genre and more.
Wednesday November 3
Story time – 10 a.m. at the Granby Library. Join Ms. Tess and Ms. Cindy for stories, nursery rhymes, songs and movement.

Beginner Adult Watercolor Lessons – 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Fraser Valley Library. Create a beautiful watercolor, even if you’ve never painted before. Materials provided.
Thursday, November 4
Story Time – 10 a.m. at the Fraser Valley Library. Join Ms. Amy for stories, nursery rhymes, songs and movement.
Story Time – 11 a.m. at the Juniper Library. Join Ms. Elisa and for nursery rhymes, stories, songs, movements and more. Mask compulsory for over 3 years old.
Virtual Reality – 2:30 p.m. at the Kremmling Library. Have fun playing, creating music, or traveling to new worlds, all without leaving your library.
Cinema morning – 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Granby Library. The November movie is “Space Jam: A New Legacy” and popcorn will be provided.
After School Program – 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Juniper Library.
Friday November 5
LEGO Club – 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Granby Library. Participants can build freely, take on challenges, build with ideas from our LEGO books or work together on a large building project. The club is ideal for students from kindergarten to fifth grade.
1st Kids Gallery – 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Fraser Historic Community Center. A gallery of all the art created in Fraser Valley Rec Creative Clubs with light refreshments.
Sunday November 7
Trésors de bois workshop for adults – 3 p.m. at the Granby Community Building. Join Tiffany Freitag to create seasonal wood panels with interchangeable parts.
