‘Trains at the Depot’ is back at the Beltrami County History Center – Bemidji Pioneer

BEMIDJI — The Beltrami County History Center and the Northern Iron Horse Railroad Society will host the “Trains at the Depot” exhibit from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 23 and from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 24 at the History Center, 130 Minnesota Ave. SW.
The event will display the following size from N scale to HO scale to O gauge and LEGO City with running LEGO trains.
The train club layout will be open for tours and train videos will be available for viewing throughout the day.
Hours of train stories will be available each day and copies of the storybook will be distributed after each session. Raffle tickets for train prizes will be available and the gift shop will be open with new train-related giveaways, according to a statement.
Attendees can also meet local author DeeJay Arens and purchase an autographed copy of the award-winning film “The View from a Rusty Train Car,” the statement said.
Standard admission to the History Center will include access to the museum and all featured train elements on display.
Admission is $5 for adults and $1 for children 6-12, children under 5 are free. Discounted rates are available for groups of five or more. Admission is free for members of the Historical Society.
