The LEGO Ideas project lives on the edge in the first review of 2022

An overlapping model is the latest project to make its way into the first LEGO Ideas 2022 review as construction spills out from its base and into the real world.
Another LEGO Ideas project garnered enough support to be considered for a future LEGO set in the first review of 2022, coming from the same user who already Land Ahoy in a previous review stage – Ralf Ranghaal.
Their latest project depicts a medieval tower with wooden beams and exposed stones scattered throughout the construction. However, the twist is that the base hangs over a corner of the shelf it sits on.
While this may make building more difficult, it allows the display piece to slip into the real world by extending outside the usual confines of a LEGO model. It also includes a full interior with the rear wall open for easy access.
