Lego Super Mario Adventures with Luigi Starter Course

Long considered sad by Mario-Sack younger brother, Luigi slowly rose through the fan favorite ranks thanks to Nintendo’s Luigi year in 2013 and his own games with the Luigi’s mansion series. If you needed more proof as Luigi’s star was on the rise, Lego revealed a new version of its Lego Super Mario starter course with the Green Plumber leading the charge. This is available for pre-order now for $ 60 with delivery scheduled for August 1 and includes new challenges like a seesaw and villains like Boom Boom and a Bone Goomba. It also comes with a new Pink Yoshi figure as well as new in-game sound effects not available with Mario.

Medicom Mafex The Mandalorian IG-11 and Grogu

We could be way beyond IG-11’s heroic sacrifice in the season one finale of The Mandalorian, but Medicom pays homage to the assassin droid turned very aggressive nanny with his latest Mafex figure. Standing over 7 inches tall, the IG-11 comes complete with two blasters for commandoing, a full serving tray with drinks, and even an interchangeable chest to display its self-destruct device. But his best accessory is, of course, the little Grogu himself, stowed away in his saddlebag to be hoisted around the IG-11’s chest. IG is slated for release in Japan in January of next year, for around $ 99. [Medicom]

Hasbro Tiger Electronics Jurassic Park LCD Video Game

We all knew we got the same basic gameplay every time we bought any of Tiger’s electronic games, but somehow the packaging and artwork on the handhelds got us going. completely overlooked this fact, and it happened again almost three years later. Last year Hasbro revealed that it was bringing back a handful of classic Tiger handheld LCD games, but apparently these four were just the beginning because in August it will also release the original jurassic park version, which allows players to dodge the dinos while trying to escape the park. Let’s not pretend it’s going to grab anyone’s attention for more than a few minutes, but for $ 15 who’s complaining?

Playmobil Dragons: Race to the Edge The figures

What started as a fun animated film (surprisingly not directed by Pixar) in 2010 with How to train your dragon has grown into a huge franchise with countless sequels, books, several animated series, and plenty of toys, including the latest Playmobil additions based on the Dragons: Race to the Edge cartoon that lasted five seasons. New sets should be available starting today and include Hiccup and Toothless ($ 35), Astrid and Stormfly ($ 35), Snotlout and Hookfang ($ 35), Fishlegs and Meatlug ($ 40), Ruffnut and Tuffnut with Barf and Belch ($ 55), as well as a smaller $ 30 set that includes Gobber the Belch with sheep sling and target baskets – two essential components for holding dragon racing competitions.

Hasbro Star Wars: The Black Series 50th anniversary Clone wars The figures

Hasbro’s excuse to celebrate Lucasfilm’s 50th anniversarynniversary with as many figures as possible continues, this time with a return to the 2008 era of action figures for the new Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Four figures, exclusive to Target, join the 6 “range in special packaging reproducing the cases in which the original 3.75” figures from 2008 were found: Anakin and Obi-Wan, featuring realistic versions of their figures. Clone wars styles, as well as Arc Trooper Echo and Clone Pilot Hawk. They should be available at the retailer this summer, for $ 25 each. [Toyark]

Hasbro Monopoly: Jurassic Park Edition Board game

Hasbro could have simply reissued the original version of Monopoly with its updated play money to include the iconic Jurassic Park T-rex silhouette and we would have lined up. to buy it, but Monopoly: Jurassic Park Edition goes much further with the theme. In addition to rexbucks, the game allows players to collect iconic properties around Isla Nublar and try to build fences to protect them, because while the standard tokens in the game have been replaced with characters from the movie, there is also an additional T-rex token that tramples the board, causing damage and costing players money. The $ 30 game even includes the jurassic park front gate which, when activated play the movie theme song or a dinosaur roar, letting players know how much money they can collect. Life finds a payday.
