LEGO VIDIYO 43101 Official Bandmates Box Distribution Revealed

The distribution of minifigures in a box of LEGO VIDIYO 43101 Bandmates has been revealed, giving us some hope to research specific characters.
The augmented reality themed collectible figure series (which are definitely not collectible figures) are packaged in cardboard rather than plastic, making it impossible to smell the individual characters.
Fortunately, StoneWars managed to collect a box full of 43101 Bandmates ahead of their larger release on March 1, and have now revealed the cast of all 12 characters in an unopened box.
While the distribution between individual boxes may vary, StoneWars’ box of 24 figures contained two complete sets of 12 figures. Best of all, the position of each of these figures in the box was identical across its two columns, suggesting that the LEGO Group is adhering to a specific model.
This means that if you spot a freshly opened box on a shelf, you will hopefully be able to accurately choose the exact character you want by simply counting backwards from the front. Here is the order of the 43101 Bandmates figurines as they appeared in the StoneWars box, from back to front:
Werewolf drummer
Red panda dancer
Discowboy singer
DJ Cheetah
Samurapper
Shark singer
Banshee singer
Cotton candy cheerleader
Genius dancer
Alien Keytarist
Rabbit dancer
Ice Cream Saxophonist
There’s no guarantee this will be the case with every box, of course – but as StoneWars points out, a uniform distribution among all boxes would be logistically most manageable for the LEGO Group. The 43101 Bandmates goes on sale March 1 for £ 3.99 / $ 4.99 / ⬠4.99 per figure.
