Lego Launches Epic 2354 Piece NASA Space Shuttle Discovery Set

The new kit is a. STS stands for “Space Transportation System”. The $ 200 (£ 170) kit is aimed at ages 18 and up and will launch in April.
Lego collaborated with NASA on the design of the set, which includes movable payload doors on the shuttle. The Hubble model can fold up and fit into the shuttle, or the solar panels can be unfolded to show the telescope in all its glory. Other details include a robotic arm, a control module that opens to show the cockpit, and deployable landing gear.
“This dynamic duo represents humanity’s greatest effort – the quest for knowledge. Discovery and Hubble continue to inspire,” NASA tweeted on Monday in response to Lego’s unveiling of the entire shuttle.

“I was thrilled to see the Space Shuttle in LEGO form, and I was very impressed with the amount of intricate detail they managed to recreate from the pod where we slept and ate until we called the ‘milk stalls’ on the telescope, ”Sullivan said in a Lego statement on Sunday.
