LEGO artist unleashes his creativity with DOTS
Join LEGO artist Adam Ward as he tries his hand at building with DOTS in the latest LEGO Group video.
Los Angeles-based designer Adam Ward has worked on various projects using LEGO bricks, including huge sculptures, attending the LEGO Batman movie and various brick-focused art exhibitions. Now he sees what is possible with DOTS in a “LEGO Masters Tips & Tricks” video.
In it, Adam shows how to use DOTS to brighten up office ornaments and stationery, putting his own personalized touch on the sets. He also wears a colorful DOTS bracelet throughout the video.
Adam offers advice to viewers looking to improve their building skills, favoring functionality over aesthetics.
“When I originally designed this pencil box, I didn’t think at all about the colors or the design I put in it,” he says. “I was just thinking about the function. I just wanted it to contain pencils and pens – and that’s what it did! “
