Mustafar is best known for being the backdrop for the fiery final showdown between Obi-Wan and Anakin. It is home to an industrial mining complex that sits atop a molten river. However, Mustafar harbors a whole different story in Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.

Here, you’ll assist a rogue Mustafar on his quest to aid the rebellion and, inevitably, help them escape the grip of the empire. These missions will require hunting for ore, fighting droids, and multiple smuggling missions. Don’t worry, this guide will help you follow everything.

Insight

Upper level of the Mustafar mining complex

Second Tier Mustafar Mining Complex
# Point of interest
1 Vexed Mustafarian
2 Obsidian Ore Site 1/5
3 Obsidian Ore Site 2/5
4 Obsidian Ore Site 3/5
5 Obsidian Ore Site 4/5
6 Obsidian Ore Site 5/5
7 Turncoat Mustafarian (first location)
8 Turncoat Mustafarian (second slot)

Mustafar has a fairly simple layout. Your time will be spent in the mining complex. The complex is divided into three levels, but you will only interact with two of them: the upper level and the second level. The upper level consists of the rooftops of the various industrial buildings, and the second level takes you straight from the landing bay, through the mining facilities, and to the rear area which straddles the fiery lake. There are quest givers at both levels, so we’ve included both maps for your convenience.

Journey to Ahch-To – Temple Island

Reward Trade Federation Vulture Droid

From the landing platform, climb to the top of the nearby building (on the left side of it there are rungs that you can grab using a hero-type character’s grappling hook). Scour the rooftops until you encounter the Miffed Mustafarian. It turns out that actions have consequences. The petty Jedi brawl between Obi-Wan and Anakin has threatened his livelihood, and you must help him collect Obsidian to compensate. Once you agree to help, your quest markers will begin to guide you. There are nine pieces to collect in all.

Quota Quandary, mining obsidian

The first four pieces are super easy. They’re right around the Miffed Mustafarian (at the southwest and northwest corners of the roof you’re on). Following, go to the plank that connects the roofs together (you had to walk through this to get to the Miffed Mustafarian). Come down. There are two other ore deposits nearby ready to be exploited. Return to the landing pad and there is another obsidian deposit to the left (where you climbed to the roof before). Finally, for the last two ore deposits reserve it at the other end of the map (up to the northern tip). Climb the giant staircase to the right and they will be waiting for you. Return to the Miffed Mustafarian and he will thank you and reward you with the Separatist Vulture Droid.

Lanai Luau Puzzle Solution

This is a relatively simple puzzle. You need to go to the southern tip of Temple Island at Ahch-To. There you will find a party. Unfortunately, no one is dancing! Jalk at Disturbed Party Planner (they have a giant Kyber brick above their heads) standing by the fire. Once you talk to them, a designated area for dancers will appear around the fire. Simply use a Force-using character to mind control surrounding partygoers to enter the designated area with the “influence” mind trick ability, then use the “distract” mind trick ability to to dance. Once you have stolen the free will of four different citizens, they will form a conga line and you will have completed the puzzle. Naturally, your reward is a Kyber Brick.

Reward Hako Rune

As a villain type character, at the Turncoat Mustafarian at the landing bay. He will tell you that he is actually smuggling obsidian to the Republic. He needs you to bring a payload to Coruscant. Naturally, on your way, you will be intercepted (several times). The first wave will have six bounty hunters, the second wave will have ten, and the third will have twelve. It doesn’t matter, they all explode the same way. Once you reach your destination, your contact will be fighting another squadron, so take them out (there are ten of them) and you’ll be safe. Talk to the rebel with the gold star above his head and you’ll get Rune Haako as a reward.

Reward Mustafarian, Kyber Brick

Hey, it’s our favorite Mustafari again! He still needs the help of a villain, so be sure to talk to him when using one. Turns out the Turncoat Mustafarian has been discovered, and he needs someone to help him break out of Mustafar. First of all, you need to smuggle it past the battle droids. And by “smuggling” we mean killing them all.

Mustafar Too Dangerous, fighting battle droids

From there you just need to fly to Tatooine. On the road, you will be ambushed three times. Similar to the contraband mission in Mustafar, Far Away, the first wave will have six bounty hunters, the second will have ten, and the third will have twelve. Hand over the Mustafarian to the rebel flying in the Tatooine space. Then, fly to Mos Espa. Talk to the Mustafarian and you will recruit the Mustafarian and get a Kyber Brick.

As you can probably see from the chart above on this one, the main hurdle here is going to be meeting the requirements. To start the mission, interact with the giant Gonk spaceship floating in Mustafar space. Agree to escort Gonkobo and his magnificent spaceship. Just follow Gonkobo. You will have to fight three separate squads. However, once you defeat the last one, a cutscene will play and you will complete this quest. As a reward you will get the Gonk Droid and the GNK Power Cruiser.
