TECHNOLOGY AND TRACING: Older kids will love an Easter hunt with QR codes they can scan on a smartphone. The superbusymum.net blog offers free printable QR codes that reveal clues when scanned. You can normally scan the codes with your phone’s camera app or download a QR reader.
THE BIG PRICE : Award the fastest clue a grand prize, like the Lego Easter Bunny, £13.49 at John Lewis. Prepare smaller prizes for the finalists, such as the original Walter The Sausage Dog chocolate from Marks & Spencer for £5, or a box of five 40g Cadbury Creme eggs for £1.75 at Aldi.
