Life is hard. Leisure has to compete with work, exercise, eating well, housework, children … it never stops. However, if you adjust your expectations, you can somehow convince yourself that you are dealing with two things at the same time right now.
The new version of the Adidas Ultraboost running shoes will bring together your pandemic-induced Lego craze for exercise. The company’s three stripe logo has been transformed into customizable strips made of Lego bricks that you can modify as you like. They are known as the Ultraboost DNA x Lego Plate shoes.
The customizable three stripe logo has a transparent slot on each shoe that will accommodate three 2×2 Lego plates to create each stripe. The $ 200 shoes come with a handful of bricks in primary colors to customize. However, I guess your options aren’t limited by the bricks that come with the shoes. If you have similar sized ones at home in other colors, you can probably use those as well. The top of the toe has a texture like the top of Lego bricks. There are also more subtle Lego brick-textured nods on the sockliner and the back of the inside of the shoe, which is fully colored in Lego yellow. The shoes went on sale on Thursday. April 8 on the Adidas website, if you want to flaunt your Lego love while you run.
