in order to carry out the project, chain + siman had to explore the available design resources to their maximum capacity. in this way, the architects were able to give an impression of uniqueness and character to the proposal, without forgetting the specific building regulations and strict parameters, the range of materials and the quality standards specified by the brand.
structural design was one of the biggest challenges architects faced. a clear, column-free space arrangement with light aluminum work was chosen as the flagship concept of the design, allowing customers to move freely throughout the store. to achieve this, a perimeter foundation with insulated footings was built, capable of supporting the four columns and beams of the design. meanwhile, low-rise interior walls were built to give the volume an impression of lightness.
The main function of the frame structure is to support the hanging cubes made of alucobond panels of 5 mx 2.5 mx 2.5. The intention of chain + siman with the cubes was to bring a touch of color and personality to the project, while keeping the views clean. it doesn’t matter whether you are on the ground floor or the second floor of the mall, you can always have a clear and uninterrupted view of the interior of the store. this feeling of cleanliness is accentuated by the decision to hide all the store’s installations (electrical and sanitary) inside the beams covered with alucobond.
the studio’s holistic approach ensured the creation of a unique selling environment. the design generates a fluid and open store, where a 360 degree view is available from both inside and outside. at the same time, it is also able to convey the values ââof the brand so that future customers can identify with the interior of the space. the differentiation value put forward in this project allows for a distinct and different shopping experience.
